November at Dave’s BERNINA in Provo and St. George is packed with events to help you prepare for the upcoming holiday season, gather with fellow quilters and sewists, and invest in our community for the betterment of all.
Remember, you can always check our calendar for classes, workshops, clubs, and social events at both of our locations. This community is a huge part of what makes Dave’s BERNINA a wonderful place for crafting and inspiration and we have communal and class gatherings almost every day of the week!
For the Love of Foster Kids Weekend – November 7-8, 2025
We’re launching the holiday season with what might be our feel-good event of the year.
For the Love of Foster Kids Weekend falls on November 7 and 8 at Dave’s Bernina St. George, and is completely free to attend. On both days, we’re gathering from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm to sew pajamas, Kimberbears, and Holland pouches for children in need.
So often, children enter into new, unfamiliar, and stressful foster situations with nothing but the clothes on their backs. This weekend is all about crafting the basics for them, which we then donate to Utah Foster Care.
All attendees need to do is bring their sewing machine and a basic sewing kit. We’ll provide all of the other supplies!
Let the Good Times Roll – November 14-15, 2025
On November 14 and 15 we’re meeting at Dave’s Bernina St. George to Let the Good Times Roll!
This event is all about encouraging your creativity. Over the course of two days from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, we’ll make four projects that utilize the incredible capabilities of the B 990. You’ll practice working with the laser, camera, Jumbo stitch, BISR, and much more.
Kits for all 4 projects are included, and we’ll also have light refreshments and swag gifts.
Christmas at Dave’s – November 19, 2025
Christmas at Dave’s is back! We always have so much fun at Dave’s Bernina Provo hosting this holiday event.
On November 19 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, we’ll gather for a magical Candyland Round Robin evening of crafting and food. Attendees will enjoy hands-on classes in quilting, serging, and sewing, and make-and-take projects to encourage the holiday spirit. Space is limited for Christmas at Dave’s and it’s one of our most popular events, so don’t wait to secure your space!
