This fall season, we’re inviting our local sewists and quilters to explore fun sewing and quilting retreats at both Dave’s Bernina locations—Provo and St. George.
Both the #GoodDay Sewing Retreat (Oct 15-18) and the Making Spirits Bright Fall Retreat (Oct 23-25) feature fun, project-based classes and workshops to expand your skills while crafting great quilts and gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Warning: Extreme cuteness ahead! You’re going to want to make this adorable quilt. Once you see these little mushrooms, resistance is futile. This is a fabulous quilt for advanced beginners.
Bliss Bucket Bag by Mini Kim – $20
Just a few fat quarters are all you need to whip up this sweet and practical design – perfect for storing works in progress or toting our favorite sewing goodies wherever you go.

Gingham Garden Bed Runner – $20
Gingham Garden is a very cute flowery quilt! We will learn the fundamentals of this quilt. It will include some applique, piecing and the fun of sewing circles. Make it into a bed runner or a large quilt. You decide how large you want to make it!

“Sew” Many Feuds! Game Night – FREE
Let the feuding begin! Get ready for a night full of laughs, friendly competition, and fabulous prizes! We’re bringing the classic game show Family Feud to life – with a fun twist of course! The first 10 people to sign up will be divided into 2 different families to go up against each other. Whether you’re playing or just cheering from the sidelines, it’s going to be a night of good vibes, big laughs and a whole lot of feuding fun.

Lifetime Table Ironing Station – $20
This ironing cover is designed to be used with a small 3-foot Lifetime table. Using this table gives you much more space to iron on! Come learn how to use a walking foot to quilt and make this AWESOME ironing board cover. Oh, and did we mention it’s reversible??!!
Tidy Tote Part 1 – $20 (FULL)
Keep all your equipment in one place, right where you need it, including those big rulers. No need to ever unpack again – just unzip and set up at your desk. There are three versions—We will be making the one that uses Sterilite Clear view drawers.

Join us in creating this beautiful Knitted Blooms quilt. No special tools needed, just bring your basic sewing kit. Additional instructions, cutting, and homework will be emailed after you sign up.

About Trout by Lunchbox Quilts – $20
A class project to be appreciated by the fisherman in your family. We will be making one beautiful Trout to hang in his man cave. Using Batik fabric this little fish will come alive. It will teach you Applique embroidery and we will also use the Templates for perfect cutting on the trout pieces.

Wrap N Zap is the perfect product to use for Microwave projects. We will make the Baked Potato Zapper, Cozy Bowl, and Cozy Plate. Great for beginners to get comfortable with their machine and using their walking foot.
